Being In Flow Healing Center Now Open

What is life coaching?

I get asked this question all the time. I have to be honest, before I became a life coach, I had only heard the term once or twice and that was on Oprah!
This is not what I normally blog about but since I have received so many questions regarding this, I decided to write this.

I will do my best to answer this in a current and relevant way that may be easily assimilated.

Have you wanted to do something and got really excited at the thought of doing it, but when you explored it further it became too overwhelming and you thought…”I don’t think I can do this” and then gave up?

Life coaching can get you past the overwhelm and put steps in place for you to achieve that very dream.

Are there some days where you walk around and ask yourself “Why am I here?” “What is my purpose for being here?” Do you have a knowing that you are here for more and you feel that you are not living that?

Life coaching is where all of these things are explored and figured out.

Are there relationships that you have that completely stress you out and you feel that you give more than you get?
Do you feel like you are stuck in something and it is hard to break free?
Are you able to completely be you and speak your truth in all situations?

Life coaching can empower you to be stronger and know what it is you want in every moment so you can be your true self with anyone and everyone. Coaching can enable you to become “unstuck” and free flowing!

Some people may have an idea that life coaching is like therapy but really it can be very different. Therapy delves into the past, where life coaching focuses on the present.
This process consists of team work between you and your coach.
CEO’s of major companies have coaches, entrepreneurs have coaches, artists, actors and musicians may have a coach, and the list goes on…

In a nutshell, Coaching is meant for you to live your most authentic life you can and to figure out, who you are, where you want to go, and how you want to be…then it is about simply BEING YOU.

Take 30 seconds today to honor yourself for being here and for being who you are, you are worth it!

I heard about life coaches a few months ago while I was working on my Masters in Counseling and have researched it and think it is a wonderful program. Is there any special training that a life coach goes through?

Hi Randy! It’s the first time I am reading about life coaches. Your blog on January 17 (my birthday) was a beautiful one. The questions you posted are the exact ones I would ask myself and honestly, I have no answers to. Like most of your followers, I am at my point in life where I can definitely use a coach. I wish you had a book or something similar published. I live across the globe and reading your blogs is the only one I could get some inspiration from.

I have always believed that no matter what your past you can be anything you set your mind to. Life coaches give you direction and motivate you. They validate your ideas and keep you on track. I used a life coach as i was growing my real estate company. It helped me balance my life! Good work Randy…to do what you love and help people is the greatest gift! Dawn

Never judge someone until you walked in there shoes….
